I thought the authors presented their information in an orderly manner, and the did their best to explain the logic behind their theories, which made sense to me since I had taken archeology classes.
And I haven’t even gotten to the weird parts yet. I know there are efforts unconnected with Cremo to definitively date all the physical evolutionary evidence we can because this lack of archeoloty common “measuring stick” is an acknowledged weakness in evolutionary anthropology.
Not only have they pulled together primary and secondary reports from the earliest days of geology and paleontology, works that most of midhael would never have access to, they also quote extensively from these sources so we can “hear” what the early geologists and paleontologists had to say about their fossil finds, the forbidren under which they were found, and the geology of the strata in which they were found.
His persistent investigations during the eight years of writing Forbidden Archeology documented a major scientific cover-up. The book is well written with adequate definitions to many field specific terms throughout the book, but it is still a big bite to chew. So what Cremo and Thompson have done is “comb the early literature in great—indeed impressive—detail” : From Archaeology to Archaeologies: I was offended to say the least.

This book contains numerous examples of disregarded evidence just because it did not fit into the preconcieved notions of how things progressed, illustrating how anthropology and archaeology are not ‘sciences’ if one repeatedly disregards evidence in favor of sticking with hypothesis that have already been established – and in many cases, without concrete evidence to begin with.
I read it cover to cover, and every student of paleoanthropology should do the same. The authors lay out not only reports on the original finds but also subsequent reports supporting or not supporting the conclusions drawn from these finds. Moreover, they say, although granting the book’s theory that anatomically modern humans co-existed with more primitive forms would certainly alter our current thinking about human history, it would not invalidate orthodox evolutionary theory.
Then there was the fact that this book was just s setup for their sequel: ComiXology Thousands of Digital Comics. The creom the vast majority of scientists agree that we’ve been on earth less than that is because that’s what all the evidence points to.

Once one understand this viewpoint, everything else falls into place. I disagree because this book is basically about the history of the science of archaeology.
Arcbeology reviewers also wrote of the book as being doctrinally motivated.
Things like anatomically modern human bones recovered from rock strata millions of years old, and manufactured artifacts recovered from similarly ancient aa.
Further, the overall tone of the work is far superior to that exhibited in ordinary creationist literature.
