Latin is very useful to me now. This is not obviously not a great book on learning Latin.

Being Australian there isn’t much emphasis on this influential language as there should be and as there is in other countries such as the UK and US. Publishers, authors, and service providers never pay to be reviewed. It is only an introduction to Latin and you will need a follow-up wity, but he gives ideas for this on his website; he also altin free MP3 files for correct Church and classical pronunciation. Although the author’s voice reminds one more of a cowboy than a consul, the fact that he provides free MP3 recordings for each lesson in both ecclesiastical and classical pronounciation on his website is fantastic.

The grammar is just as gradually introduced, adding case upon case, gender upon gender, until, by the end, some respectable sentences lwtin being translated. It gives 99 words, spaced out well enough, and structured in such a way that learning about declensions and word order, and conjunctions, comes out wigh naturally. Probaby have another month or so of lessons, mind you that said, Im beginning to slow down now as the information piles on. There’s a problem loading this menu right now.
You’ll learn about present tense forms of verbs, five cases nominative, genitive, dative, accusative, ablativeinfinitives, direct and indirect objects, noun declensions, and a few adjectives.
All the exercises provided are so tedious that you only have to translate from Latin to English and not vice versa.

As said before, the grammar and explanations are excellent, and are so very easy to understand.
