Her ‘Ties that Bind’ was slightly better – I actually made it to the end of that one. BUT, I know that a lot of people will like it and my reasons are more personal than the fault of the author. Lots of sitting around talking and lovey-dovey, I really loved this. Easy to read, floating. Instead, we have a story about a woman trying to re-establish her life, and as the story goes on, we find out a little more about the “murder” of which she is convicted, and we watch as she breaks out of her prison-hardened shell of mistrust and learns to trust again, which is essential to rebuilding her life.
