I’m not sure if that should be troubling. There were some parts in the book that dragged out without much substance or humor.

Ricky seems to hate it when people call Karl a genius and he clearly is not but I would never say that this man is stupid. Either way, Karl is a happyslwpped Englishman, an honest guy, and a genuinely unique thinker. His travel experiences are never pleasant but they are relatable and leave you thinking “exactly!!
I think he is very observant and has a sincerely simple way of seeing the world.

happyslappwd Karl might not be a massive fan of going on holiday but he certainly has traveled. People keep going on about global warming, asking us to turn the heating down cos the ice is melting and polar bears are drowning, but no one cares.
I may be slightly bias because i love almost everything Karl does.

This book is typical Karl Pilkington – nothing ever impresses him and misfortune seems to follow him. My mother and father have a sandwich shop, not anything involving butts but I found it easy to follow along, perhaps because I know some English people who use the same colloquialisms!
Not something I’d read usually but my wife got it from the library so it was lying around. Karl is a wonder. Start reading Happyslapped by a Jellyfish: I realy wanted this book to make me laugh as hard as the 1st book did, perhaps some of the higher ratings here are a little guilty of hero worshipping.
While reading this book, I kept thinking back to the antics of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn when they were convincing Jim to be locked up in the shed and pretend he was a captive slave and putting spiders in with him to make it ‘real’.
